I have made the mistake of importing hundreds of files as SFX instead of voice, and have already organized them into events. In order to save hours of more work, I am wondering if it is possible to somehow convert SFX assets to voice.

Thanks!

The answer is no.  Not directly inside Wwise.

However, using advanced manipulation inside a text editor, such as notepad++, and using search & replace combined with macro usage, you could potentially convert your assets.

Ah yes, I will look into this. I'm guessing I may have to do a few "find-and-replace" operations in order to change source directories and stuff.

Thanks very much!
Follow up- I was able to edit the type="SoundFX" to "Voice", <Language> from SFX to English(US), and the <AudioFile> in order to change the location of the source. Works as I hoped! Cheers.
