Can I hear HRTF in user defined 3d objects under headphones?

I'd like to be able to hear 3d audio using HRTF and stereo headphones in WWise, not just running in the game engine. I'd love to hear user definded 3d audio paths under headphones.

Edit edit:

After babbling on about mic techniques and all that- I realise that you're referring to the actual simulation of the dummy-head mic technique through some convolution algorithm (transfer function). I don't believe there is anything like this in Wwise, although I'm sure there are some plugins that may produce a similar effect. Apologies for jumping the gun with my answer before thinking!

3dception and Astoundsound are both HRTF plugins that work in Wwise. I have the 3dception beta up and running and you can manually set the height and pan info to manually position the sound in 3d space. Astoundsound has similar manual controls.
