Hi there,

I want to be able to use a microphone input, but whenever I go through the motions outlined here: [https://www.audiokinetic.com/courses/wwise301/?source=wwise301&id=Posting_Audio_Input] and click the play button, it just immediately stops playback and produces no sound or listening. I can't get my microphone to pickup, and I'm trying to get it to hear my ASIO device, for which I'm using the ASIO plugin. It also gives the same behavior through the regular Wwise Input option.

Any support on this would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Daniel

I'm using the latest Wwise and I'm having the same Issue, Did you manage to find a fix?.....

For some reason, I have no problems with getting my mic to work on the 2019 Version?

Hello,

This has been fixed in Wwise 2021.1.10. See WG-60215.

https://www.audiokinetic.com/library/edge/?source=SDK&id=releasenotes.html

The issue affects the microphone playback within the Wwise Authoring tool only.

What about microphone input in the game? I get errors every time I try to use the Wwise audio input plugin routed to a game object using an event on AkAmbient.
Wwise will not pass the mic feed to the game object.
