So I am a novice coder working on a rhythm game for mobile platforms, using Unity and Wwise. I'm experiencing issues in the iOS build with the audio being disrupted any time a notification is received, and this puts the music out of sync with the game. I would also like the app's audio to still play when the iPhone's silent switch is enabled.

From what I have gathered, in order to do this, I need to change the AudioSessionCategory from the default Ambient to PlayAndRecord. However, I'm not sure where or how to make this change. I found a previous post about this (https://www.audiokinetic.com/qa/1370/unity-ios-audiosessioncategories-how-to-set/), but it seems to be outdated, and refers to lines in the AkInitializer script that don't appear in the most recent Wwise SDK that I have.

What do I do to change the AudioSessionCategory? Is it a code to be put into the AkInitializer script? If so, where in the script?
