Do I need to buy a license during the soft launch of the game? Provided that the initial set of sounds will not exceed 200 media assets?

Dmitry,

You do need to make sure your project is registered (so that you have a license key).  If you're using under 200 sounds, and your budget is very low (under $150K USD), then you would qualify for the Starter License.  With this license, you can indeed have your soft launch.  Then, if the game is successful enough to proceed to a global launch, you'd need to inform your AK contact when your total development budget grows to more than $150K USD, or when you need more than 500 sounds (the limit of the Starter License).  We would then move you to a regular commercial license, or one of our royalty-based licenses if you prefer.

Hope that helps,

Mike
