New Features

• WG-63678 The Wwise SDK for macOS now includes precompiled binaries and libraries built against multiple versions of Xcode, as opposed to just one version of Xcode at a time. This allows for greater flexibility in Wwise and Xcode selection, making it possible to adopt newer versions of the Wwise SDK without updating Xcode or to adopt newer versions of Xcode without updating the Wwise SDK. Note that this change modifies the folder structure of the Wwise SDK binaries and where they are located in a non-backward-compatible fashion. We recommend you refer to SDK Binary Folder Structure for Mac for more information on the new folder structure. We also recommend plug-in developers refer to Building your Plug-in for more information on how the wp.py build command has been modified to support building the plug-in binaries for multiple toolchains in one step.

Miscellaneous Changes

• WG-68241 mach_absolute_time() is no longer used by the Wwise libraries and samples.
