I’m trying to trigger a sound effect at random intervals. Basically, rather than having it linked to a game trigger, I want it as part of the background, and I then want to link the frequency at which the sound is triggered to an RTCP. Any help is welcome, I tried to scan the manual for a solution and couldn’t find it but I’m sure is trivial.

Create a Random or Sequence Container, set it to Continuous, loop infinitely, Trigger Rate. Put your RTPC on the Duration value of the Trigger Rate. Also add a Random range to the trigger rate. Done. What you cannot do, as far as I know, is parameterize the values of the random range. That would be a nice feature.

thanks, in Wwise 2024 now it is called transitions, make type to be delay, and apply RTPC to duration.
