Hello, we've been working using Wwise 2023.1.0.8367 and suddenly the authoring tool is crashing in WwiselibUI.dll.
Our IT department has verified that no AV or other tools are blocking or quarantining the dll.
We are working on Windows version 10.0.26100.2033.
We've already tried to reinstall and delete the AppData layout folder as suggested in other posts but it doesn't help.
Do you have an idea what is causing this problem? Is there a workaround?

Any luck with this? I'm having the same problem on 2023.1.1.8417 and absolutely nothing works
Hello, I have the same problem. Have you found the solution to it?
Just for posterity and in-case any Devs are monitoring, I'm having the same issue on 8367.  For me it seemed to happen just after the recent major Windows update, but despite rolling back the update and uninstalling/reinstalling Wwise multiple times, I haven't had any success.
Same issue here, did you every manage to get a solve?

I just fixed this. I opened my wwise project in a newer version of wwise and did the migration when it prompted me. after the migration i then closed wwise and then re opened in the original version the project is in and it opened fine. I then went to version control and deleted all of the assets that had changed from the migration process. definitely a weird one.

After updating my Windows system, this issue persisted in both the latest 2024 and 2025 versions. Clicking any tab within the Audio Devices section (such as System) triggers the crash. After spending nearly a full day troubleshooting, I checked the updates and discovered they included runtime updates for .NET 3.5 and 4.8. I then manually installed .NET 4.8 and .NET 4.8.1 (for some reason, the .NET 3.5 installer executable wouldn't run), which resolved the issue.
