Hello,

I have another question regarding Metadata Json or XML files during Soundbank generation (which are located by default in the Root folder of GeneratedSoudbanks).
This follows another recent post --> https://www.audiokinetic.com/qa/13657/wont-find-projectinfo-json?show=13657#q13657

I'm working on Wwise 2024.1.1 and Unity 2022.3.55f1

My problem is the following:
When I exit Unity's play mode, Unity tries to write Metadate Json files (Platforminfo, Pluginfo, Projectinfo...) and this makes exiting play mode extremely long, even unbearable. To remedy this, I simply unchecked the generation of these Json files when generating Soundbanks (in “Project Setting/Soundbanks”) and everything went much more smoothly. I'd like to point out that this project has been in the making for several years and has gone through several versions of Wwise and Unity, and this is the first time I've had this kind of problem.

Questions:
What is the purpose of these files? The little information I've found on the subject is that it facilitates teamwork, but I'm the only one working on this project. Is this necessary?
Will it affect the builds?
