I'm trying out wise for the first time and it seems they have upgraded their package installer since the time I was checking out some video tutorials online. I currently have the latest Wwise Launcher and Unity. But whenever I try and integrate Wwise into a project, it gets stuck on "Executing Unity to complete the installation. This may take a few minutes, please wait...".  The executable is showing to be running in the windows task manager, but the application itself does not startup. I'm at a loss on troubleshooting this. It opens fine from a normal Unity startup perspective and the project is only a couple of boxes and walls for a simple test.

Hi,

I ran into this the other day - I'm fairly certain that the last piece of advice on this page

https://www.audiokinetic.com/qa/2918/wwise-launcher-fails-to-integrate-wwise-into-unity-project

worked for me (deleting the MetroSupport folder from C:\Program Files\Unity\Editor\Data\PlaybackEngines\MetroSupport).

Note that that's probably not the best way to do it - I think if you Uninstall Unity, reinstall without Windows Store support, and then re-attempt the integration you should be good. Unless of course you need Windows Store Support...
