I have been trying to copy the system you have set up for setting up footsteps in Unreal here

https://blog.audiokinetic.com/-unity-3d/

The main issue I am facing is that not all the types of nodes are listed by name, so I don't know how to get them into the blueprint.  I can't figure out what is connected to the get actor location that you can put -100 into to get it functioning to sort out what surface it below you. It looks like the addition of a vector or something, but all the ones I try don't work.   I also can't get the blueprint to give me an option of adding cast to third person character - it just doesn't show up when i type it in.  Also the target/mesh component that comes off the AK component and connects to the third person character node - what is that called?

Visually this looks like a great system, it is just lacking a lot of explination for folks who don't know very much about blueprints.

Thanks
