Voume increases on repete event.

In a project im current working on I have a character who shoots fireballs every second the space bar is held down. Though after every consecutive fireball (and call for the game event) the volume of my game increases. Its like the sounds keep adding up on each other. I have been through everything and I havn't changed anything by accident and the same method of calling sounds in my script for other SFX has worked fire without problem so far! Is there any fix for this?
