Ambience Space Station Collection Guide

The Ambience Space Station collection is arranged in subprojects that cover the range of space exploration, from alien vessels and environments to expressive drones, rumbles, and room tones.

In the Miscellaneous subproject, you will find black holes, stars, nebula, and wormholes. The Objects subproject includes point source elements such as alarms, vents, jets, engines, force fields, electricity, water, computers, and doors. These are a combination of one-shot and seamless loops, with multiple variations and layers to add randomized background color or foreground color.

The subprojects are mixed using higher order ambisonics with assets recorded in stereo formats. They are set up to render in a variety of common multichannel formats to suit your requirements, ranging from binaural to 7.0.4, as well as multiple orders of ambisonics in AmbiX, allowing 360 degrees of listening immersion.

The subprojects are configured to render as seamless loops and blend multiple layers of sounds. In addition to the subprojects set up for ambisonic mixing, there is the Space Station Objects Subproject configured for mono for use as point source objects to populate and dynamize your environments.

To optimize download size, a stereo render is included in the collection download, which you can audition in the Ambience Space Station project.

The subprojects are arranged to allow auditioning according to your monitor systems and rendering in a comprehensive range of formats. By default, they are configured to monitor in stereo.

The complete list of all the subprojects and their associated data and embedded metadata is available in the accompanying Ambience Space Station SoundBook.
