I see this line here

Have you tried running the installing with administrative permission? That is likely the issue. Either way, I'm not a Wwise expert, just a guy with a (similar) issue to you.

Hi,

This issue should now be fixed in the latest version of the Launcher.
Could you let me know if that resolved your problem?

Hi Denys, I'm experiencing the same issue when trying to install Wwise on a new PC. I'm using the latest version of the Wwise launcher and am trying to install 2019.2.6.7381. The log indicates that Wwise is having trouble installing C++ redistributables. I've installed Visual Studio but the issue persists. Any advice welcome!

Hi Denys, the issue still happened when trying to install with the latest launcher. I've just fixed it at last, however I needed to manually install the code dependencies, following the guide on your Wwise System Requirements page (Microsoft .NET Framework, Microsoft DirectX and Microsoft Visual Studio Redistributable). These files weren't getting installed through the launcher.
