Codec plug-in not registered.

The codec plug-in required to decode a sound was not found. The sound will not be played. All codecs are included by default, when using the include "AllPluginFactories.h", but this is optional.

Probable cause:

  • AllPluginFactories.h is not used (which is OK) but the codec include file (***Factory.h) is missing or library was not linked.

Recommended resolution step:

  • Make sure the specified codec Factory include file is included in one CPP of your game. Make sure the corresponding library is linked statically. See Integration Details - Plug-Ins.
