Modules
You’ll begin by grouping all the sounds associated with items the Wwizard might find under an Actor-Mixer object.
-
Launch Wwise and open a project file. Make sure you open the Module 11 project file.
-
In the Project Explorer's Audio tab, expand the Actor-Mixer Hierarchy > Default Work Unit.

Notice this project includes a lot of objects to work with.
-
Select the Default Work Unit, and then click the Create new 'Actor-Mixer' button.

-
Name the new Actor-Mixer Items.

-
Select all the objects below Heartbeat and drag your selection into the Items Actor-Mixer.

Now you’ll place all the sounds that are directly associated with the main character into their own Actor-Mixer, but you'll use a different approach this time.
-
Select the Defeated, Jump, Pain, Footsteps, Body_Impact, and Heartbeat objects. Right-click one of these selected objects and then click New Parent > Actor-Mixer.

-
Name the new Actor-Mixer Main Character.

Now it's easy to find specific types of sounds in the Project Explorer. And as you'll see in the following exercise, it's also easy to make changes that will affect all objects under an Actor-Mixer.
