Use controlled randomization

While the gem breaking sounds are randomized, it’s still possible that the same sound could be randomly selected multiple times in a row. You can avoid this by adjusting the properties of the Random Containers.

  1. In the Project Explorer, (1) select the Gem Head object. Then in the Property Editor, (2) select Random Container and (3) set Limit Repetition To to 2.

Now it's impossible to hear the same gem breaking sound played multiple times in a row.

    [Note]

In the Project Explorer, for each object type, properties unique to that object type are found in a category named after the object. For example, "Random Container" in this case.

  2. In the Property Editor, set the Random Type to Shuffle.

With this option, after an object has been played, it won't play again until all other objects have played.

  3. Play the Gem Head Random Container to hear the effect.

  4. Repeat steps 1 to 3 for the Gem Tail object.
